Licensor Terms and Obligations

一般条款

  • 许可方是管理委员会 (AdCom) 的成员，并同意与许可管理员真诚合作，使许可管理员能够履行其在 VVC Advance 池方面的义务。

  • Initial Term for Licensors continues until the end of the First Renewal Term of the VVC Advance PPL (即, 12/31/2030 for new Licensors). This provides predictability for Licensees and Licensors.

许可范围和授予

  • The PPL grant is to infringed patent claims that are essential to Versions 1-3 of the VVC Standard and/or VSEI Standard:
    • “VVC 标准” – Versions 1-3 of ISO/IEC 23090-3 MPEG-I Part 3 and ITU-T Recommendation H.266
    • “VSEI标准” – Versions 1-3 of ISO/IEC 23002-7 MPEG-C Part 7 and ITU-T Recommendation H.274
  • Amendments (即, new Versions or Profiles) to the definition of the VVC Standard and the VSEI Standard, and therefore to the scope of the PPL license grant, are approved upon Licensing Administrator’s recommendation unless vetoed by the AdCom.
  • 许可方向许可管理机构授予他们有权许可的所有 VVC/VSEI 必要专利权利要求的非排他性许可，包括根据 VVC Advance PPL 授予分许可。
